Hailing from Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir, Zaid has established himself as a dedicated and accomplished athlete through years of hard work, perseverance, and consistent performance. His sporting journey is marked by numerous achievements that reflect his passion and determination to succeed.

In Karate, Zaid has proudly represented at the National Level on four occasions, showcasing his talent against some of the best athletes from across the country. Among his notable accomplishments is winning a Silver Medal at a National Karate Championship, a significant achievement that highlights his skill and competitive spirit.

He further demonstrated his dominance in the sport by winning Gold Medals twice at the Open National Kashmir Premier League Karate Championship. At the state level, he participated in two State Karate Championships and secured Gold Medals in both competitions, proving his consistency and excellence. Additionally, he has earned numerous medals, titles, and recognitions at district-level tournaments, making him one of the promising Karate athletes from the region.

Apart from Karate, Zaid has also excelled in Kho-Kho, representing his state in various competitions. His performances in Inter-AGS Kho-Kho tournaments have been particularly impressive, where he consistently achieved excellent rankings and played a crucial role in his team's success. During several important matches, he set remarkable records by successfully getting multiple opponents out, demonstrating outstanding agility, strategy, and teamwork.
