Muzamil Fayaz

Muzamil Fayaz, better known as “Alpha,” is a young and promising sporting talent from Pahoo, Pulwama. His primary discipline is volleyball, where he specializes as a libero—a position demanding quick reflexes, strong defensive technique, concentration, communication and excellent reading of the game.
Muzamil is currently associated with Elite Volleyball Club Pulwama and has also represented and trained with Pahoo Volleyball Club and Star Volleyball Club. His journey in volleyball has seen him play alongside experienced players including Amir Puchal, Basharat and Yawar Pahoo, gaining valuable experience and developing his understanding of competitive volleyball.
Known for his defensive ability and commitment on court, Muzamil has earned recognition as one of the young and promising liberos of Pulwama district. His dedication to training and his willingness to learn continue to shape his development as a volleyball player.
His sporting journey extends beyond volleyball. Muzamil has also competed as a national-level Kabaddi player, demonstrating his versatility and physical ability across different sporting disciplines. He is also a chess player and has participated in state-level hockey, making him a multi-sport athlete with experience across team sports and individual competition.
